Yesterday we played Bingo and ate ice cream to celebrate Day #4 of Catholic School Week. It was a noisy, laughing, fun and funny great time!

And as an added treat for all of us, we invited area Catholic Sisters to join us. Why?

Catholic Sisters built the Catholic school system in the United States (not to mention hospitals, nursing schools, orphanages and many other institutions to care for all God’s people).

They did it for no money, no appreciation, no (earthly) reward. They did it because it was the right thing to do.

I am so glad 6 of my Benedictine Sisters came to Our Lady of Grace to have a little fun. The kids loved them … and of course, the Sisters loved the children.

As a Catholic school, we thank all the Sisters throughout the U.S. for their tireless work in Catholic education. We would not be here today if not for your hard work and dedication.
