Summer (Benedictine) Adventures

Hi Everyone, I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I know I am. It started with a much-needed silent Benedictine Retreat (I blogged about it 7 times as part of my reflection time – just dig backwards to find all the posts), but has ramped up since.

Almost as soon as retreat ended, we celebrated the 50-year anniversaries of 3 wonderful Sisters. Then, I was off to a monastery in South Dakota for a liturgical forum (that’s me with a couple friends at the forum). Whew.

I have a couple of days to catch my breath before venturing out again. You can follow my adventures on our Monastery Wisdom blog … and hope you do!!!

Blessings to you and your loved ones. You are in my prayers. And if this is striking a chord for you, please contact me at smacdonald@smmsisters.org. I’d like nothing more than to share some thoughts about Catholic Benedictine life with you. If you can’t tell, it’s one of my favorite topics! 🙂
