It has been an exciting week at Grace, thanks to Internet problems. What I really mean to say is, We have had NO Internet for days.
Uggh!
Obviously, this was bad. We no longer could use our Smart Boards!!! Let alone our iPads and computers. But, hey. We managed, and even ended up having a good time.
Being unplugged was a good reminder that we can still teach without all that high-tech stuff. We sang to CDs instead of videos. We used paper calendars and the chalk board.
The kids adjusted immediately, as you might expect. They just love learning, any way they can!
We teachers need to learn from the kids here. They set a wonderful example of accepting change. God asks us to do that in so many ways, every day. Thanks to my kids, I’ve been reminded … again. 🙂
