We began, as so many schools today, with Unpack your Backpack night.
Students and their families could meet their teachers, see their new classrooms, unpack their supplies, and – in our case – enjoy a fun hot dog dinner.
This year I did a couple of new things.
First, I made a flip book of information for the parents. (Thanks, Jessica Vicknar, for the idea at prideandprimary.com!) They seemed to love having all the info collected in one package.
Next, I made each of my new students a rosary during my retreat this summer. Each rosary had been prayed on for each child.
It was a wonderful beginning. (Have I said I love Grace?) Let the year begin!!!! ❤
