My double jobs as teacher and vocation director rarely overlap, but they did last weekend when the Benedictine Sisters hosted K-4th grade girls for a Catholic Princess retreat.

The idea behind it? Girls dream of being princesses, with all the superficial beauty and finery that Hollywood showers on them.

But God views us all as perfect! We are beautiful, special, irreplaceable.

So that was the theme as we prayed and played at the monastery.

And the princesses loved it! ❤
