Holy Thursday with Catholic Preschoolers

Today has been a busy 1st day of the Triduum here at Grace Academy Preschool.

We’ve had our feet washed and enjoyed our Last Supper.

We’re ready for Good Friday.

So what does the washing of feet mean to a preschooler? Well, we shared about what Jesus must have meant when he washed his apostles’ feet. Here he was the leader, and he was serving them!

Exactly. 🙂

We blessed our bread before we broke it. We blessed our grape juice. And we dined together … just like Jesus and the apostles.

It was a holy and blessed day, indeed.

Now off to our Triduum at the monastery. If you’re curious about what it’s like, Sister Mary Core wrote a great description of it. Have a blessed three days.
