Several things have changed since I last posted here. For one thing, I accepted the position of vocation director for the monastery. That means I will spend time with women who are inquiring into religious life. If you are one of them, that means YOU!!!! 🙂
For another, I have reduced my teaching schedule to part time. So I will now be teaching art to preschool through 2nd grade. I’m excited and scared all at the same time!
To leave my preschool classroom has been difficult. I love teaching those little ones. But God has called me to something new … and I am going forward with faith.
So the contents of my blog will shift, too. It will include lots more art projects (duh), along with other resources. Believe me, there will be lots of ways to work Jesus Time into every art class!
So here’s my 1st classroom project of the year. It’s a bulletin board (courtesy of Pinterest) that reflects a key message from Catherine of Sienna: “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”
Yep, that’s right. I hope you’re setting the world on fire too, and that your autumn schedule begins smoothly.
And if you ARE discerning religious life, I’m always ready to talk! 🙂
