Recently it’s been so cold and wet here (we expect a high of 5 degrees today) that the children haven’t been able to go outside to play. Aaargh. Imagine a roomful of preschoolers peering out at all the pretty snow yet cooped up inside. Not a pretty sight. 😦

Today is Halloween and are we ever excited!
Although we arrive all dressed up in our costumes, the first part of the morning we stick to our daily routine: working on writing our names, checking in for lunch, saying our prayer and singing our welcome song. Nobody is cuter than a preschooler at Halloween … or more excited. We had a wonderful day. The students had come to school in costume, so when it was time to begin our party we didn’t have to get dressed.
Yesterday was Grandparents’ Day at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy. The whole school was involved. While older students made rosaries, my little ones decorated pretty rosary boxes with colorful foam pieces. The rosaries and boxes will be given to Our Lady of Guadalupe Women’s Group to pass out to those in need. Continue Reading
